Are the dresses sized? Our dresses only come in two sizes! Size A fits a 0 -12 and Size B fits a 14 -24.
Can I order swatches of the fabric? Yes! You can order up to five fabric swatches here.
Why do the colours on the site differ from the swatches I received? Colours can appear differently on computer monitors and browsers. Please request a swatch to see the best representation of the colour you will be ordering. Please note, dye-lots do vary +/-5% depending on lot.
Can I wear a bra with the dress? Yes you can! Certain wrapping styles allow for a strapless bra or even a full coverage bra. With the help of the Nu Bra (you can buy it here) and various nipple cover options, the dress surprisingly offers support in itself. We also have the option of a bandeau top, which comes in the same color/fabric as the dress and provides additional coverage to wear a bra comfortably and wrap it in any style you wish.
Are there undergarments that work better with the dress? Seamless undergarments work best with the dress. Please avoid lace as it can snag the dress.
Do the dresses require alterations? The simple sizing structure of our dresses means no sizing alterations are required. Should you need to change the length of your dress it simply requires a straight cut with no hemming. twobirds does not have the facility to carry out alterations but we are happy to provide details of tailors in the Toronto area. Please order extra length if you are over 5’8" in heels.
Can I wear the dress if I am expecting? Yes! The twobirds dress is perfect for pregnant ladies as it only comes in 2 sizes and has room for the bump.
Can my junior bridesmaids wear this dress? Yes! Junior bridesmaids can wear the dress and order a bandeau top for more coverage. Additionally, we offer a junior bridesmaid dress that is a crew neck option and provides a bit more coverage without the use of the bandeau. Please see our accessories page for more details!
How do you clean the dresses? We recommend dry-clean only.
Can you dye the dress? While it may be possible, we do not have any contacts or referrals for dyeing the dresses at this time. We hope to revisit this and be able to offer a solution in the future!
What do you suggest if my dress wrinkles? You can use a steamer to smooth out wrinkles on the dress though its rarely necessary.

Where can I try on the twobirds Bridesmaid dresses?
We have stores across the US and Canada that carry our dresses, please use our store locator to find the location nearest to you.
You can visit our showroom located at 215 Ossington Avenue (Located in LoversLand), Toronto, ON, M6J 2Z8. We are by-appointment only and you can schedule an appointment on our website or over the phone at 416-551-3321. We take appointments Tuesday – Sunday 12pm – 7pm (5pm on Sundays). We are flexible so please give us a call if a time does not work for you. What if I need to cancel an appointment? Please call us as soon as you know you cannot make it.
What if there is no location close to me? We offer a sample program where we can ship you a dress to your home for a 10-day trial period. It is that simple!
Do all bridesmaids have to try on before ordering? With our simple sizing structure and no measurements required, our dresses don’t need to be tried on before ordering! The only information we need is the bridesmaids dress size (typically off the rack) and her height (in heels).
Will I be able to tie the dresses myself? Yes! It is very easy to do once you have a practice. We have videos uploaded on our website of all the wrapping styles and an iPhone app you can download.
Can I hire someone to come wrap the dresses on my wedding day? We do offer the option to hire a stylist to come and wrap your bridesmaids the day of. The price for a wrapper is $250/hour for the wrapping + $50/hour of transportation time + cost of transportation ticket/gas/zip car. If you are interested in this service in another province please reach out to us and we can try to set you up with one of our stores that offers the service as well.
Do you do matching men’s accessories? Yes! Please click here for full details. Please note, our ties and pocket squares are made of 100% Italian silk so therefore complement the dresses but don’t exactly match them. If you would like to request a swatch of the tie fabric please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can we return the accessories once purchased? All accessories are made to order therefore all sales are final.
How do I place an order? You can either call us at 416-551-3321 to place your order in full over the phone or set up a bridal profile here where all your bridesmaids can pay individually online!
What does the wish list option offer? The wish list is a place where you can start creating your own personal wedding look where you can share your inspiration ideas with your bridesmaids! Once you decide on the look you can then move those selections to the bridal profile to begin ordering!
What is the lead-time on an order? Our standard lead-time is 14 weeks from the date of purchase (or the date the last bridesmaid pays in the bridal party). We recommend ordering the dresses 18 - 20 weeks prior to the wedding date to allow for length alterations, accessorizing, and time to play with all the wrapping styles!
Can I get dresses sooner then the lead-time? We can provide rush orders for a delivery time of 10 weeks or less depending on fabric availability and production. Rush fee prices are listed below: 8-week lead-time: $40/dress 6-week lead-time: $75/dress 4 week lead-time: $100/dress 2-week lead-time: $175/dress
What are shipping/pickup options? We can ship your dresses individually or to one location. Individual shipping is $30/dress and combined shipping (2 or more dresses) is $20/dress. We can arrange pickups from our Toronto Showroom (in LoversLand) Tues – Fri between 12pm – 6pm. Please note, Ontario sales tax of 13% applies to all shipments sent within Canada.
Can my bridesmaids pay for their dresses individually? Yes! You can fill in the bridal profile here to begin the ordering process and the bridesmaids will receive an email to complete their purchase. Once the last bridesmaid pays is when we put the dresses into production.
Can I order a single dress? Of course! Standard lead-times do apply to single dresses.
Can I change an order once it has been placed? Please give us a call if anything is wrong with the order you placed. We can see where it is in production and try to accommodate you as best as we can. However, since all our dresses are made to order we do order fabric specifically for the orders placed.
Can I cancel/return my order? All sales are final and we do not offer any returns or exchanges.
